Bomas of Kenya is a cultural center a short drive from the city centre where visitors can watch displays of traditional dancing by groups from the main tribes of Kenya.
The dances, vividly described for the benefit of the audience, depict events in the lives of the different tribes. In this delightful rural setting bomas (villages) have been constructed, representative of the country’s 16 ethnic groupings and typical of each varying lifestyle.

Lake Nakuru Flamingo Express.

Drive West of Nairobi to the Great Rift Valley.
On the way to Nakuru you will pass the picturesque Lake, Naivasha and Elemteita. You drive to Lake Nakuru Nation Park, home of concentration of pink flamingo which live on the abundant algae in he shallow waters of the lake. Lunch will be taken at a lodge in the park and then there will another game drive to admire the amazing birdlife and the plains’ game which visit the lake shores to drink.
An area of the Lake Nakuru National Park is faced for the conservation of rhino.
Tea will be served by the Lake before your return to Nairobi.

Kiambethu Tea Estate

Drive 30 kms out of Nairobi passing kikuyu agricultural smallholdings in to the tea country at Limuru, and the home of Mr. And Mrs. Mitychell on Kiambethu Tea Estate
Mrs. Mitchell is the daughter of one of the first people to grow tea in the area. She will entertain you with anecdotes of the family’s live and the story of tea planting in the area before escorting you on a short walk in to the nearby forest to see colobus and sykes monkeys.
A buffet lunch is served on the lawn and after lunch you can visit the Limuru church where Dr Louis Leakey the world renowned anthropologist is buried and which was built by Mrs. Mitchell’s father.

A safari in Nairobi National Park, only 13 km (eight miles) from the city centre. Lion and Cheetah roam in sight of Mts. Kenya and Kilimanjaro and beneath airplanes on their approach to the international Airport. Monkeys, buffalo and several species of plains’ game abound.
