• Some basic rules of tracking gorillas include:
  
• You have to be over 15 years of age
  
• You can not be sick or have any infectious disease
  
• Only one hour is allowed with the gorillas and you have to keep a distance of at least 5 meters
  
• Maximum number of visitors per day is 6-12 people per group
  
• No flash photography is allowed
  
• Trekkers must be fit and well equipped, which includes warm clothing for the wet cool climate high in the mountains.
  
• No eating or drinking in the vicinity of the gorillas
  

No touching the gorillas (although they may decide to touch you)

You need an official permit Usually you have to obtain these several months in advance.

After breakfast, your guide will drive you through the rolling green hills of the Switzerland of Uganda (Kabale) with beautiful scenery and terraced farming to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
Best known for its Mountain Gorillas the Montane Forest also attracts spectacular birds.
There are 23 of the 24 Albertine Rift endemics including the African Green Broadbill, Bar Tailed Trogon and other beautiful forest species.

The nature walk will lead you to the Munyaga Waterfall and a chance to see Primates such as the Grey Cheeked Mangabey Blue monkeys and others species. Day Two: Bwindi - Gorilla Tracking.
Gorilla tracking. Take with you lunch boxes and all the necessary gear to track the rare Mountain Gorilla, perhaps one of the most exciting wildlife experiences.
There are now only 650 left in the world! The tracking may take between 2 and 6 hours with Park Guides interpreting the flora and fauna and the lifestyle of the Gorillas.
